Favorite new moment

I had written a book for Charlotte and Henry about Peppa pig last week. Naturally, you wanted a book too. 

I had no idea what much we would be cracking up watching and listening to you read it, but it was so funny and cute. Daddy and I were laughing so hard!!

Bad words

We are watching a movie you love called "into the wild" and you looked at me and said "there are some bad words in this movie". Daddy and I looked at each other and you clarified "but I know that we don't say "shut up" or "stupid"!!

Summer

Pen pals

I had the grand idea of finding some penpals for you to write to, to explore geography, learn about the world, and get some writing practice in. 

You are completely uninterested thus far. And If I do say so, being rather rude about it. At least Charlotte is into it. 

Homeschool

School at home is going very well. As with anything else, there are Moments where things are going great, and moments that we struggle along.  In the end though, it's awesome to be able to say "she really knows her hard and soft vowels this week" when last week, they were a foreign concept.
