Doubles doubles toil and troubles

On your last report card you got all these except for the two things that really matter math social studies and science

To daddy and I have started to supplement education doing some math worksheets at home.

Right now we are working on doubles fax and doubles plus one.

You know this so it should've been easy for you. The problem was your attitude. He kept saying usually I do this with daddy. I like her daddy does it better.

Friends

Your friend making pattern is to find a few people you really like, and hold on tight.

Your best friends are Avery and Brianna, who you see at school every day.

Last night you were very tearful and it broke my heart to hear you say "I don't have any friends!".

Of course, this isn't really the case. You were very tired , and after I reminded you that Ellie and Maddie were your friends, Charlotte and Henry were your friends, Avery and Brianna were your friends, Abby and Haley from church are your friends, Emily and Sophia, our neighbors down the street are your friends, Cameron and Taylor are your friends, etc. you started feeling better and went to sleep with tears on your cheeks but a little bit of a smile on your face.

It is true that it's harder to have your friends over, though. I don't see your school friends parents on a daily basis like I do for Ms Stephanie and Charlotte and Katie.

I thought about how I can help you feel more connected and I had several ideas- get you involved again with children's
theatre, maybe introduce you to a sport, and work to get your friends from school over to play. :)
